"Healthy Workshops" are bringing awareness about Chronic Disease to many community members. Discussion include signs and symptoms, risk factors and ways to reduce risks from developing disease.
As we engage with community members in conversation, it's understood that there is a process involved with changing one's lifestyle or daily behavior as it pertains to health. However any little change or first step towards good healthy habits and living; such as eating more fruits and vegetables, beginning an exercise program or reading food labels, etc., is a beginning and what we look for.
